The Hydor HXP EC features our Series One high efficiency impeller coupled with an Aluminium frame, Permanent Magnet, Electronically Commutated Motor Voltage: 220 to 277 VAC Frequency: 50/60 Hz input, which reaches the future IE6 level of efficiency, the highest in the market – considering 20% less losses then IE5 according to the standard IEC TS 60034-30-2 – for variable speed electric motor. Specification

Casing

The all metal fan casing and guard provide a long lasting and robust construction. The units have been constructed from mild steel and suitably treated to ensure full corrosion protection. The guard and Fan plate shall have a powder coated polyester epoxy paint finish to (RAL7045 MATT Telegrey). Mounting Arms manufactured from Stainless Steel. Fan assembly fixed to casing via durable anti vibration mountings, isolating any vibration.

Impeller

Adjustable pitch aerofoil impellers are provided with blades made from high quality GRP. Impellers are factory set at an angle to provide maximum performance. The hubs are manufactured from die cast aluminium alloy (LM24). Assembled impellers are to be dynamically balanced to ISO 14694 Grade G6.3.

Motors

Permanent Magnet, Electronically Commutated Motor Voltage: 220 to 277 VAC Frequency: 50/60 Hz input, which reaches the future IE6 level of efficiency, the highest in the market – considering 20% less losses then IE5 according to the standard IEC TS 60034-30-2 – for variable speed electric motor.

Fans are suitable for operating temperatures between -20°C and +60°C. Electrical connection to the motor shall be provided by an IP55 terminal box fitted to a 550mm long flying lead.
